🏡 A Warm Welcome!
Our House Rules
Dear guests, we are absolutely delighted that you have chosen to spend your getaway in our historic Eifel house! To ensure that all our guests feel completely comfortable and that this charming building is preserved for a long time to come, we kindly ask you to observe the following simple rules:
🤫 Quiet Hours & Consideration • Our lovely neighbors: Monschau thrives on its cozy, peaceful atmosphere. Please be considerate of our neighbors and avoid loud noise – especially outside in the garden or when windows are open. • Nighttime quiet hours: A legal quiet period applies throughout the entire house and outdoor areas between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
🧹 Cleanliness, Trash & Departure • Final cleaning: We will take care of the professional final cleaning for you! • Your contribution: We only ask that you place all used dishes into the dishwasher before your departure. • Outdoor shoes: Our floors and staircases will thank you if you remove wet or dirty outdoor shoes in the entrance area. Feel free to bring along cozy slippers!
🚭 Safety & Smoking Policy • Strict no-smoking policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all indoor areas of both the apartment and the holiday home. • Smoking outdoors: You are welcome to use the garden for smoking – please make sure to use the provided ashtrays. • Windows & doors: Please close all windows and doors whenever you leave the property to protect the building from sudden Eifel rain or wind. Please also turn off the lights and electronic devices when leaving a room. • Heating: During the cooler months, we kindly ask you to ventilate quickly and efficiently (open windows fully for 5 minutes) instead of leaving them tilted open while the heating is running.
🚗 Parking & Keys • Parking spaces: You are welcome to park your vehicles in our private spaces directly in front of the door. Please park considerately so that other guests have enough room as well.
• Lost keys: Please take good care of your keys. In the unfortunate event of a loss, we will regretfully have to charge you for the cost of replacing the locks.
Did something break? Where there is life, accidents can happen. Please just let us know briefly if a mishap occurs (e.g., a broken glass or damage to the furniture) so that we can quickly replace or repair it for the next guests.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your cooperation and wish you a wonderful, relaxing stay in Monschau!
Willi & Simone
