A warm welcome to Monschau!

We are Simone and Willi – and our love for this town has been going strong for many years. During our countless visits over the time, we fell in love not only with the idyllic alleyways but, above all, with the warm and welcoming people of Monschau. As our friends (who run vacation rentals here themselves) rarely had any availability left for us due to the high demand, we decided to take matters into our own hands: We fell in love at first sight with the historic house at St. Vither Straße 10+12 and bought it! Today, it is a project truly close to our hearts. We want to share Monschau with you, showcasing all its beautiful facets and its wonderful way of life. Thanks to the idyllic riverside and hillside location, many rooms offer captivating views of the water or the dramatic rocky backdrops.

• The ultimate bonus for drivers: Situated on St. Vither Straße, our properties provide private parking right at the doorstep and are strategically located on the southern edge of the historic core. This makes arrival and departure incredibly easy compared to accommodations deep within the old town.

• The old town at your doorstep: In just 3 to 5 minutes on foot, you will reach the first cobblestone alleyways, bustling with charming cafés, restaurants, and over 300 historic half-timbered houses. • Monschau Glassworks (Glashütte): Located just a few meters away, the historic glassworks showcase traditional glassblowing craftsmanship – a fantastic excursion for any weather.

• Direct access to nature: Right behind the house, the forested hillsides of the Eifel rise up. Hiking trails toward the Panorama Trail or up to Monschau Castle can be started directly from your doorstep without any long detours.

• The Red House (Rotes Haus) & Marketplace: A leisurely 5-minute stroll along the flat riverside path brings you right into the heart of the center. The grand cloth merchant's mansion is the town's number one photo spot.
